Friendly Acres Activities
Whether you prefer a quiet afternoon or evening on the shoreline watching the activity on the river, or a full day of activities with friends old and new, it is all available at Friendly Acres.
Swimming is available at the beach or in the pool, boating and fishing are very popular, a fully equipped playground is available for the kids, and the outdoor sports facilities include volleyball, horseshoes, and soccer.
The Social Committee is active every summer arranging events such as dances in the rec hall on long weekends, a fishing tournament for the kids, family bingos, 'Christmas in July', and a halloween Trick or Treat followed by a costume dance.
